Beal is an internationally acclaimed contemporary, figurative artist, who has traveled throughout Europe, South America and the Far East dedicating his career to perfecting his art. Beal works across multiple mediums in vivid colors and frequently depicts in his pieces a “Universal Woman” withfeatures from many women around the world.

“Throughout my travels I found many cultures hold women in reverence and I try to depict that adoration for femininity in my pieces,” said Beal. “I’m excited to travel back to my roots in Detroit to display some of them at Umoja’s Blooming in Color show.”
