Growing up in Detroit in the 1960s it was apparent that the Paternal figure in the family was a force to be recond with. Big Daddy's colorful personality yet sobering expression invited all who had the nerve to come to him with their hopes, dreams, fears, secrets and foolishness. Always in control, Big Daddy listened to everyone of his children grandchildren, neices, nephews and even the kids on the block with a big open heart...but he didn't play!
