Artistry in Motion: The Grant Family

Family-Founded, Community-Focused

Ian Grant, CEO/Gallerist of Umoja Fine Arts, gained expertise in the art business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the years 1984 to 1989. He became acquainted with publishing procedures, the medium of art, and the identification of the functions of distribution and how to relate the functions to marketing decisions.

As it is a family business, Ian's wife, Tanji Grant, serves as the Vice President. Her knowledge and understanding of customer buying trends, collection habits, style, forms, and color complement the business.
